             Diffusion Measurement of Human Optic Nerve Using Fat Suppressed Diffusion Turbo FLASH Sequence

             To avoid susceptibility induced distortion with a conventional echo planar imaging based diffusion sequence, a phase cycled centric-order diffusion turbo FLASH sequence was developed with fat suppression.  Accurate diffusion tensor measurement of human optic nerve is demonstrated with fat saturation in two healthy volunteers.
