13C Spectroscopic Imaging of Glycogen in Rat Brain

To date, in vivo localized 13C MRS is the only non-invasive method to assess brain glycogen under physiological condition. The present study implemented and demonstrated feasibility to assess brain glycogen distribution using 1D CSI in rat with 13C glucose label administration and visually confirmed the performance of 3D OVS localization.
