Design of T2 selective excitation pulse trains for knee imaging.

Linear combination filtering is a new post-processing method that canbe used to generate T2 selective images, showing onlytissues with T2 of interest. However a multi-echo datasetis required which calls for long scan-times. In this work we presentan equivalent T2 selective RF pulse, this leads tosignificant scan-time reductions as only a single acquisition isrequired. In addition, multiple slices can be acquired in seriesfollowing a single preparation pulse.
