Voxel-based statistical analysis can be performed to compare changes in a group of patients or each individual patient to a control group; however, spatial normalization is required to minimize the anatomical variability between studied subjects. In this study we investigated whether the seizure focus in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) can be identified compared to controls. The templates for ADC and FA were generated from the control subjects. Each individual TLE patient was compared to the normal group data to investigate whether the seizure focus can be identified. Also the group comparison was performed using statistical parametric mapping analysis.
