Whole-body 3D water/fat selective screening could be of interest in future clinical practice. High fat levels have been linked to a number of obesity-related illnesses, and fat visualization has been shown to be useful for the detection of tumor metastases in the abdominal region. In this study, the feasibility of whole-body continuously moving table water/fat selective imaging was investigated using two different approaches (magnetization prepared and three-point Dixon). It was found that the three-point Dixon fat imaging approach performs best, delivering high quality images.
