FastDiagonal-SPRITE: a new method for Diagonal-SPRITE images

In the study of ultra-short TE (UTE) for biological components an improvement in Diagonal-SPRITE is presented. The technique named FastDiagonal-SPRITE reduces acquisition time compare to Diagonal-SPRITE by reducing the k-space data points collected without decreasing in resolution and S/N. For this reasons the technique is an improvement for in-vivo MR imaging. New artefacts are studied by point spread function (PSF) and methods to reduce them are presented.
