1H MRSI Detection of Elevated Total Creatine in Brain Cancer: A Cautionary Tale

This study reports on the observation of clear and dramatic elevations of total creatine (tCr) by ¹H MRSI in three patients with brain tumors, which suggests caution in using ratios relative to tCr to express the levels of other ¹H MRS metabolites currently a common practice.
