To select an optimum brain artery for generating an artery input function (AIF) is the most important step for differentiating gliomas. We applied a modified two-compartment Tofts model to calcalate Ktrans and Ve, and compared the values obtained by using different AIFs in four grades of gliomas (determined by biopsy) for evaluating impacts of the AIFs on grading the tumors.
