Our abstract compares the novel PET/MRI and the
well established PET/CT in the follow-up of head
and neck patients. PET/MRI emerges as a
potential imaging modality that joins the
functional ability of PET and the high-soft
tissue contrast provided by MRI, but it might be
shown the real advantages of this method.
