Breath-hold DCE-MRI/DWI was applied for 16 patients with treatment-nave pancreatic adenocarcinoma. The physiological parameters such as Ktrans, kep and ADC values in pancreatic tumors, non-tumor adjacent pancreatic parenchyma (NAP), liver metastases, and normal liver tissues were quantitated. Ktrans, kep and ADC values of pancreatic tumors were significantly lower than those of non-tumor adjacent pancreatic parenchyma. Thus, the perfusion and diffusion parameters may be utilized as diagnostic markers for pancreatic cancer detection.
