Sweep Imaging with Fourier Transform (SWIFT) imaging at
14 T shows short T2 bone matrix structure in an
antigen-induced arthritis (AIA) model in rat. This
technique is compared to gradient echo where bone
structures appear dark. We explore the advantages SWIFT
to assess bone matrix and erosion in the first
feasibility study for small rodent joints at 14 T.
