Clinical investigations of cell-based therapies
transplanted in to the spinal cord do not have a
reliable method of confirming graft delivery or
survival. We demonstrate a straightforward approach to
label human neural progenitor cells with ferumoxytol and
track them in the spinal cord of a large animal.
