Our aim was to test the reproducibility/reliability of the fast 31 P saturation transfer (ST) in vivo at 7T for localized measurement of Pi-to-ATP reaction in the liver. Test-retest measurements of the hepatic ST experiment and a contamination check of the spectra from the surrounding muscles were performed. Our data show only negligible fraction of the abdominal muscle signal in the liver spectra and the test-retest variation was very low. Thus we can conclude that fast ST measurements in the liver at 7T are highly reproducible.
