Mouse brain fMRI has made significant progress over the last 10 years, but remains technically challenging and requires further efforts to improve data acquisition. In this work we demonstrate the use of visual stimulation as a viable task for fMRI of the mouse brain, with robust responses in the mid-brain (superior colliculus, lateral geniculate nuclei), mapping the visual pathway. We also examine the use of GE-EPI with multiple snapshots (compressed segments) as a way of reducing image distortion due to B 0 inhomogeneities at the point of acquisition.

How to access this content:

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
