BOLD correlate of spontaneous cortical and thalamic slow oscillations

We investigated the BOLD correlate of locally detected Ca 2+ -recordings of spontaneous cortical and thalamic slow oscillations in rats and found BOLD activation of the cortex correlated to both cortical and thalamic up-states.
