T 2 Mapping is an alternative technique to T 2 W imaging, where multiple T 2 W images are acquired and the voxel-wise T 2 values are estimated through a fitting model. One major limitation is the need for several rest cycles after each image to allow for full spin recovery, which reduces the scan time efficiency of the technique especially if more slice coverage is needed. In this work, we propose to use a slice-selective T 2 prep pulse combined with interleaved slice acquisition to eliminate the need for the rest cycles, and provide more slice coverage within efficient scan time.

How to access this content:

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
