We present a new approach of quickly measuring MR
parameter maps by treating the quantitative MR problem
as a dynamic system identification process. The system
equations are inverted to match the response of the MR
scanner to the data in time domain. Due to advances in
numerical optimization and computing power, this
approach has become possible and it is routinely
applied, for instance, to seismology. For the first
time, we apply it to MR and we recover all the desired
parameters, for example: T1, T2, B1, B0, M0. Data
acquisition takes just a few seconds.
How to access this content:
For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.
After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
