Whole body broadband and uniform 31P MRSI with sub-second power calibration at 7T.

We have integrated a body RF coil tuned at the ³¹P frequency in a 7T MR system that includes pick-up probes for fast and reliable power calibration. With this setup, full body and broadband ³¹P MRSI can be obtained in single breath-holds. When averaged over less than 5 minutes, excellent ³¹P spectra can be shown from liver and heart as demonstrated in healthy volunteers.
