Synopsis

T has been investigated as a quantitative biomarker sensitive to changes in macromolecules such as proteoglycan and collagen in musculoskeletal systems. More recently, adiabatic T (Adiab-T) has emerged as an alternative to conventional continuous wave T to reduce the magic angle effect, which is a major confounding factor in accurate T estimation. In this study, we investigated a new pulse sequence combining adiabatic T preparation and efficient 3D fast spin echo (FSE) for more robust adiab-T mapping in the human knee. The efficacies of RF cycling and magnetization reset were also demonstrated.

How to access this content:

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
