The efficacy of Intravoxel incoherent motion in predicting positive margins of radical prostatectomy

Synopsis

Positive surgical margins(PSMs) are associated with local recurrence and distant metastasis of prostate cancer which affect the long-term survival rate of patients^1-3. IVIM can simultaneously observe microcirculatory perfusion of blood and intracellular and extracellular water molecules diffusion⁴. The results of our study show that f-Bi can be used to predict positive margins of radical prostatectomy.
