Keywords: Atherosclerosis, Arterial spin labelling, MRCA and myocardium perfusion
Motivation: The purpose of this study is to develop motion robust Cartesian zigzag centric ky-kz MR coronary angiography (MRCA) and radial interleaved stack-of-stars (iSoS) ASL myocardium perfusion.
Goal(s): Investigate depiction of major coronary arteries and compare with the corresponding myocardium perfusion.
Approach: Myocardium iSoS perfusion results were compared with major coronary images obtained using sub-5-minute MRCA with zigzag centric ky-kz fast gradient echo (cFGE).
Results: Good to excellent depiction of RCA, LAD, and LCx in healthy subjects was confirmed with corresponding perfusion signals of myocardium segments. The coronary artery disease (CAD) patients after treatments show good MRCA images with corresponding perfusion signals.
Impact: The motion robust MRCA achieves a sub-5-minute scan time for all subjects. Interleaved SoS (iSoS) inherits motion robustness by oversampling the kx-ky center of k-space without respiratory compensation. Combined with MRCA, iSoS perfusion provides valuable insights into myocardial blood supply.
