Synopsis

Keywords: fMRI Acquisition, Acquisition Methods, 7T

Motivation: Traditional lower-field MRIs lack the spatial resolution, and sensitivity necessary to fully explore the complexities of brain networks. To address these limitations, we utilize the advantages of 7T MRI to construct detailed functional atlases.

Goal(s): To construct functional atlases as a normative reference for studies of neurological, psychiatric, and other brain-related disorders.

Approach: Sixty-five healthy adults underwent 7T MRI. Structural and rsfMRI data were acquired. Preprocessing and ICA were performed to identify independent components, which were used to generate brain functional atlases.

Results: Functional networks (sensorimotor, default mode, auditory, subcortical, cognitive executive, visual, and cerebellar) were identified and 3 brain atlases were constructed.

Impact: 7T MRI functional brain atlas serves as a valuable tool for both basic and clinical neuroscience research, paving the way for groundbreaking discoveries and improved patient care.

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
