Motivation: Noninvasive prediction of renal fibrosis in patients with chronic kidney disease
Goal(s): mDixon-Quant imaging was used to assess the proportion of glomerulosclerosis in patients with chronic kidney disease
Approach: Two different measurements were used to quantify R2* and fat fraction (FF) generated by the mDIXON-Quant imaging technique, and the difference between low and high GS was analyzed.
Results: Cortical R2* may be useful for early prediction of glomerulosclerosis in patients with CKD
Impact: This study demonstrates that partial parameters obtained by two renal measurements of the mDixon-Quant sequence can noninvasively predict the proportion of glomerulosclerosis in patients with chronic kidney disease.

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.
After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
