Motivation: Remote ischemic preconditioning can reduce renal IRI injury. There is still a lack of a noninvasive and accurate index to evaluate the effect of RIPC in clinical practice.
Goal(s): To evaluate the effect of R2-mapping imaging on remote ischemic preconditioning
Approach: The RIPC model of both lower limbs of experimental rabbits was established, and MRI imaging, hematological detection, renal oxidation and antioxidant indexes were detected respectively 1h and 24h after RIPC
Results: Compared with the control group, the R2 'value of renal medulla in RIPC group was significantly decreased, pO2 and sO2 were increased, SOD activity was increased, and MDA content was decreased.
Impact: To provide a non-invasive MRI technique for quantitative evaluation of RIPC effect in clinic

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.
After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
