Motivation: Chronic hypertension (cHTN) is associated with adverse pregnancy outcomes. Radiomic analysis of MR images has the potential for early outcome prediction before the onset of clinical disease.
Goal(s): To correlate MR radiomic features derived from diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) with maternal condition (cHTN) and pregnancy outcomes (preeclampsia with severe features, small for gestational age).
Approach: We performed ROI-based radiomic analysis on prospectively collected apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) and intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) maps derived from the same DWI acquisition in normal and cHTN pregnancies.
Results: Several radiomic features significantly differed between normal and cHTN pregnancies.
Impact: Magnetic resonance imaging based radiomics of DWI data can distinguish pregnancies with normal from chronic hypertension pregnancies. Future work to correlate with pregnancy outcomes offers the potential for early risk assessment and improved obstetric management.
How to access this content:
For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.
After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
