Synopsis

Keywords: Diffusion Acquisition, Diffusion Acquisition, 3D DWI

Motivation: In order to show the clinical value of a novel 3D DWI sequence.

Goal(s): To promote a novel 3D DWI sequence for clinical study.

Approach: We compared a novel 3D DWI sequence with traditional clinical 2D DWI sequence on patients with small ischemic lesions.

Results: The 3D DWI images show higher lesion conspicuity and more lesion counts for the patients.

Impact: This study provide a novel and easy-access 3D DWI sequence for clinical study.
