Keywords: DWI/DTI/DKI, Breast, DKI, TILs, intratumoral heterogeneity
Motivation: Verification that DKI can accurately yet noninvasively detect intratumoral complexity, water diffusion, and lesion heterogeneity information, without contrast agents or biopsy, would encourage wider application of this technique.
Goal(s): To ascertain the performance of the TILs level prediction model.
Approach: A DKI-based tumor survival environment model was developed and used for predicting TILs level in breast cancer patients. Tumors segmented in microscopic habitat clusters were explored for heterogeneity with DKI data.
Results: First order features extracted from tumor clusters based on DKI data can properly predict TILs level.
Impact: The stable predictive performance of DKI/TILs can help clinicians make more accurate diagnoses; commercialization is expected.
How to access this content:
For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.
After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
