Synopsis

Keywords: Liver, Liver

Motivation: There is no study evaluating the relationship between different regions of IMCC and their biological characteristics.

Goal(s): The purpose of the study was to investigate the value of quantitative parameters in different areas of the IMCC in the preoperative prediction of Ki-67 LI of patients.

Approach: Quantitative parameters were measured in the center and rim areas of the tumor. a nomogram was constructed.

Results: The nomogram exerted a favorable performance with areas under the ROC curve of 0.930 in the training cohort, 0.902 in the internal validation cohort, and 0.885 in the external validation cohort, respectively.

Impact: A nomogram based on Gd-BOPTA-enhanced MRI was developed to predict Ki-67 expression in IMCC patients preoperatively and non-invasively, which may help clinicians to identify IMCC patients with high Ki-67 expression.
