Synopsis

Keywords: Neurography, Neurography

Motivation: Compressed Sensing Artificial Intelligence (CSAI) enhance the image contrast and accelerate the speed of MRI. 3D MR neurography (MRN) needs fast and high-quality images to improve the success rate of examination.

Goal(s): To investigate whether CSAI-based MRN can ensure 3D MRN image quality at high scanning speed.

Approach: After injecting the contrast agent, the 3D-MSDE-STIR-NerveView sequence was performed under different CSAI acceleration factors. The image quality under high CSAI acceleration factors was compared with that of normal CS acceleration factors.

Results: 3D MRN images obtained under a CSAI acceleration factor of 12 still have high quality and meet the needs of clinical diagnosis

Impact: CSAI can significantly reduce the imaging time of 3D MRN while ensuring image quality, which can improve the scanning experience of patients.
Additionnal impact:The latest CSAI technique might promote more extensive clinical use of 3D MRN.
