Keywords: Blood Vessels, High-Field MRI, 5.0T MRI
Motivation: To evaluate the efficacy of 5.0 T MRI for intracranial artery high-resolution vessel wall imaging (HR-VWI).
Goal(s): To compare the image quality and diagnostic utility of 5.0 T HR-VWI with 3.0 T MRI in patients with atherosclerotic stenosis, hypothesizing that 5.0 T will enhance visualization.
Approach: Utilize 3.0 T and 5.0 T MRI for HR-VWI in subjects, with visualization assessment of the intracranial artery walls performed by two blinded radiologists, followed by statistical analysis of quantitative metrics such as signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR).
Impact: The study could enhance the diagnostic accuracy of intracranial atherosclerosis assessment, potentially leading to improved patient management and treatment outcomes through superior imaging techniques at 5.0 T MRI.

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.
After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
