Keywords: Multi-Contrast, Multi-Contrast, TSE, parallel transmission, transmit field inhomogeneity
Motivation: TSE imaging at 7T is challenging due to the worsening of transmit field inhomogeneity, limiting the clinical utilization of 7T MRI.
Goal(s): Homogeneous T1, T2 and proton density weighted images can be obtained with the TSE implementation of Bilateral Orthogonality Generative Acquisitions (BOGA) method, which was initially implemented for T2* contrast.
Approach: Multiple TSE images with complimentary RF modes and scan parameters are acquired as input images for BOGA method to obtain homogeneous T1, T2 and proton density contrast in the final images.
Results: B1+ inhomogeneity effects are removed from the images with T1, T2 and proton density weighted contrast.
Impact: TSE application of BOGA method can accelerate the clinical utilization of 7T, as the B1+ inhomogeneity effects are removed from the final contrast without any prior data acquisitions.
How to access this content:
For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.
After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
