Keywords: Image Reconstruction, Image Reconstruction
Motivation: Rapid imaging methods with high temporal resolution and signal-to-noise ratio are required for hyperpolarized 13C-MRSI experiments.
Goal(s): Possible application of IDEAL-reconstructed Seiffert Spirals in a preclinical setting with respect to the requirements of hyperpolarization.
Approach: Acquisition of echo-images and IDEAL-implementation for Seiffert Spirals used for reconstruction of metabolite images using a phantom containing 13C-labeled reference solutions.
Results: Successful separation of phantom metabolites indicates possible application of Seiffert Spirals within preclinical 13C-MRSI.
Impact: The reconstructed metabolite images using Seiffert Spirals showed potential for rapid imaging with a lower number of readouts compared to other acquisition techniques in combination with IDEAL, possibly enabling single-shot trajectories to be combined with hyperpolarized probes.
How to access this content:
For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.
After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
