Elimination of Susceptibility-Induced Distortion in the T2*-Decay Curve with an Improved Fitting Procedure

The accuracy of T2* quantification plays an important role in many researches and applications. However, when there exists background susceptibility field gradients, T2* values may be distorted due to TE-shifting effect and echo-shifting effect.
