3D MR images of a Carnegie Stage 22 (54-58 days post
conception) chemically fixed human embryo were acquired
with a 512x512x1024 image matrix using a solenoid coil
in a 4.74 T magnetic field for construction of an
anatomical database of the human embryos. Because the T2
of the mobile water protons was around 10 ms, a 3D
gradient echo imaging sequence with a short echo-time
(~6ms) was used. Anatomical structures of the embryo
were clearly visualized at 30 microns cube voxel
resolution. The result demonstrated feasibility of a 3D
image database of human embryos at the 512x512x1024
image matrix.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
