We have developed a MnMRI approach to detecting
pancreatic cancer in a murine model of human disease. We
utilized bioluminesence, MRI and XFM imaging to
determine the uptake of Mn by developing tumors. T1 maps
of the lesions indicated a decrease due to Mn
accumulation.
