It is the purpose of this study to visualize and
quantitatively evaluate left atrial cryoablation lesions
with late gadolinium enhanced cardiac MR using
commercially available pulse sequences. The individual
pulmonary veins of 10 subjects were included. In
particular, consideration is given to acquisition
parameters such as the timing of image acquisition post
ablation. Significant LGE scar was observed on the
majority of the 10 pulmonary veins with well visualized
lesions.
