Synopsis

Keywords: Other Musculoskeletal, MR Fingerprinting/Synthetic MR

Motivation: Validation of whether synthetic MRI is equivalent to conventional MRI for the assessment of soft tissue tumors.

Goal(s): Synthetic MRI technology is not inferior to, and even superior to, conventional MRI technology.

Approach: Using a Likert scale, the image quality obtained by each technique was evaluated using a double-blind method.

Results: Compared to conventional MRI, synthetic MRI demonstrates higher lesion contrast, faster acquisition time, and equivalent assessment of STT signal characteristics.

Impact: In tumor examination protocols, synthetic MRI sequences can replace the four conventional MRI cross-sectional sequence scans

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
