Motivation: The pathogenesis of early myocardial injury in type 2 diabetes is complex. Moreover, the value of CMR-DTI in evaluating the nascent stage is uncertain.
Goal(s): aim to Explore the application value of CMR-DTI in early myocardial damage of T2DM.
Approach: Perform CMR-DTI imaging on diabetes and control groups and analyze differences in left ventricular function parameters, myocardial tissue characteristicsand DTI parameters.
Results: The two groups show diffusion distinction in the overall left ventricle, different slices, and different walls to varying degrees. cDTI can be used to assess primary myocardial impair in T2DM patients.
Impact: In initial-phase patients with T2DM, CMR-DTI reveals diffuse changes of varying degrees in the left ventricle. Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) can provide high diagnostic sensitivity for these patients.

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.
After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
