Synopsis

Keywords: Neuro, Pediatric

Motivation: It is crucial to develop objective methods for assessing brain structural and functional changes, particularly in early stages, in children with global developmental delay (GDD) .

Goal(s): This study aimed to investigate the application of synthetic MRI in children with GDD and correlated quantitative relaxation values such as T1 and T2 with Gesell scale scores, which can reflect pediatric brain development status.

Approach: We intend to enroll about 50 children with GDD and 20 normal children for comparison.

Impact: Some children may progress to normal functioning with early detection and appropriate supportive treatment.
