Keywords: Heart Failure, Cardiomyopathy
Motivation: Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) poses diagnostic challenges due to its similarity in left ventricular function to that of healthy individuals.
Goal(s): This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic value of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance (CMR) parameters to differentiate HFpEF.
Approach: A retrospective analysis of CMR and echocardiography data were performed on heart failure patients to evaluate left ventricular function, Native T1, extracellular volume(ECV), and myocardial strain parameters.
Results: The results showed that Native T1 and combined strain parameters were effective in distinguishing HFpEF from normal cardiac function, with Native T1 showing the highest diagnostic accuracy.
Impact: The findings of this study could improve early detection of HFpEF, leading to better clinical management and improved patient outcomes.

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.
After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
