Keywords: Vascular/Vessel Wall, Cardiovascular
Motivation: Carotid artery cine imaging and T1 mapping can assess the dynamic properties and quantitative features of plaque components, providing abundant information on diagnosis of carotid artery diseases.
Goal(s): This study aims to acquire cine images and T1 map from single scan to improve scan efficiency.
Approach: IR prepared continuous SPGR readout in a 3D golden angle kooshball trajectory was applied. Multi-TI and cine images can be retrospectively reconstructed.
Results: The proposed sequence was in excellent agreement with standard sequence in phantom and in-vivo experiment. Cine images with different TI were reconstructed, showing its further application in simultaneous black and bright blood cine imaging.
Impact: The proposed sequence can get the dynamic property of vessel wall and quantitative features of plaque components in a single scan.
