Motivation: To reduce the possible oscillation artifacts and improve saturation uniformity using adiabatic saturation pulse in CEST imaging.
Goal(s): This study is dedicated to improve the imaging quality and mapping accuracy when saturating under adiabatic pulse.
Approach: A variable optimization of adiabatic factor for any shape of adiabatic Spin-Lock pulse with respect to frequency offset is proposed.
Results: Oscillation artifact is fairly reduced, saturation is more uniform and mapping result is improved through better insensitivity to field inhomogeneity.
Impact: A novel protocol that focusing on optimizing the RF waveform and bandwidth is proposed and can be broadly used in tasks involving adiabatic pulses.

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.
After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
