Motivation: By developing a reproducible protocol, we aim to support clinicians and researchers in capturing high- quality neurochemical data that could lead to earlier and more accurate diagnoses, tailored treatments, and a deeper understanding of the brain's metabolic landscape in health and disease.
Goal(s): The goal is to develop a practical protocol for performing single-voxel MRS on the Siemens 7T Terra system and educating MR technologists to achieve high quality imaging.
Approach: Patient positioning/Coil Selection, Parameter selection, Data acquisition/monitoring, Post-processing/analysis.
Results: By using single-voxel approach, the Siemens 7T Terra system achieves more accurate detection of metabolic changes, crucial for research and diagnosis.
Impact: A step-by-step guide will help clinicians, researchers and future MR Technologist with the process of scanning MR Spectroscopy on a 7T system. It will also serve as a guide to other technologists that have not had hands on training.
How to access this content:
For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.
After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
