Motivation: Raise awareness about MRI technology in Africa
Goal(s): Raise funds to support medical research in Africa, raising awareness about important health issues and promoting the value of art and culture.
Approach: Cross sectional study was involved in collecting data on all the MRI modalities at a single point on time, Utilizing a sample size of 25 fashion pieces. Quantitative analysis was used to measure specific parameters on the MRI images, Qualitative Analysis for Visual inspection of differences between modalities.
Results: MRI techniques inspired novel aesthetics and narratives in fashion, providing visually captivating and scientifically informed perspective that merged medical imaging and artistic expression.
Impact: The project successfully raised awareness of MRI technology in Africa, potential for medical research diagnosis and educated the public about the complexity and beauty of the human brain.
